5 Easy Woodworking Projects You Can Finish in a Weekend

Not every woodworking project needs a full workshop or a free week on your calendar.  At Third Shift Crafts, we’re all about empowering women to create - even if all you got is a few hours and a dream.

Whether you’re brand-new to woodworking or looking for your next quick Qin, here are five beginner-friendly projects you can finish in a weekend (or less!). Grab your tools, pour a cup of coffee, and let’s get to work.

1. Rustic Wooden Sign

This one’s a classic for a reason.  Whether it says “Welcome,” “Farmhouse Kitchen,” or a Bible verse that speaks to you, a custom wooden sign adds warmth and personality to any room.

Tools needed: hand saw or circular saw, clamps, drill, sander, paint or vinyl stencil

Skill level: Beginner

2. Cedar Drink Coasters (Set of 4)
