Large Version (Perfect for Solo Cups):

  • 8” of 1x6 (for the base)

  • Wood Glue

  • 1 ¼” Brad Nails

  • Drill + Drill Bits

  • Sandpaper (120 and 220 grit)

Cut List:

  • (2) 1x4s @ 5.5” – Sides

  • (1) 1x6 @ 6.5” L x 4 ⅛” W – Bottom

🛠 Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Cut & Fit – Measure and cut all your pieces. Do a quick dry fit to make sure everything lines up nicely.

  2. Sand Smooth – Sand down each piece (start with 120 grit, finish with 220). Don’t forget to wipe off the dust between grits.

  3. Assemble – Glue and brad nail your holder together. Let the glue dry fully.

  4. Add Sharpie Slot – On one side panel, find the midpoint and drill a hole for the marker. Start with a 5/32” bit, then widen with a ¼” bit.

  5. Finish Touches – Optional: Fill brad nail holes with wood filler for a polished look.

  6. Customize – Add stain, paint, or even wood-burn a cheeky phrase like “Mark Your Cup & Drink Up” on the front.
