June is here and the shop is humming. I always love this time of year — the days are long, the garage door stays open, and there's no shortage of motivation to get things done. This month's content lineup is packed, and I wanted to give you a sneak peek at everything coming down the pipeline so you can plan along with us.
What's Coming This June
We've got a full month of builds, tutorials, and community content lined up. Here's the overview:
Picknic table build — a simple, solid folding picnic table you can knock out in a weekend. I'll walk through every cut and every joint so even first-timers can follow along.
Finishing deep dive — stain versus sealant, when to use which, how to get a finish that lasts outdoors. This one gets asked about constantly and we're finally doing a full breakdown.
Community project spotlight — I've been collecting your submissions and there are some seriously impressive builds in the queue. You'll see them this month.
Garage workshop setup — tips for making the most of a small or shared space. Whether you're working in a one-car garage or a corner of a basement, there are moves you can make to work smarter.
Joinery fundamentals — screws, nails, and pocket holes each have their place. We'll break down exactly when to reach for each one.
Father's Day gift builds — this is a big one. I'll have a full gift guide of builds you can actually finish in time for the third Sunday of June. Start early.
How to Follow Along
Posts go up Monday, Wednesday, and Friday — every week. If you want to make sure you don't miss anything, subscribe to the blog (scroll down for the signup form) and you'll get a notification each time something new drops.
I also share shop updates, progress shots, and behind-the-scenes looks on our social channels. Links are in the footer.
